BJP vice president Naqvi with lipstick

While reacting to the demonstrations against politicians in the wake of Mumbai terror attacks, BJP vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said, "Some women wearing lipstick and powder have taken to streets in Mumbai and are abusing politicians spreading dissatisfaction against democracy. This is what terrorists are doing in Jammu and Kashmir."

He said "in difficult times like these" some groups have decided to "wage a war against democracy" rather than waging war against the menace of terror.

Demonstrations are one's right in a democracy but it is sad to know that some media organisations have joined hands to present the politicians in a bad light. The channels are also engaged in presenting unfounded things to rake up a negative image of the politicians, Naqvi said.

Mr.Naqvi is mistaken...
Where is the need to present politicians in a bad light...??
They already are in the dustbins...
Right thinking citizens of this Country has only contempt for them..

And who is he?
What is his standing?

He belongs to a party whose Prime Ministerial candidate skipped the all party meeting held on terror..Mr.Advai was the strongest critic of the govt of India,he expresses strong views on terrorism(even though ironically it was his govt, when he was home minister who escorted terrorists to Afganistan)
What was Advani's and Party President Rajnath Singh's excuse for missing the all party meet..
They were campaigning in Rajastan..
Could you believe this...It's just unbelievable..
They were seeking votes, when an all party meeting was being held..
Atleast a semblance of UNITY of our Country against terror should have been shown to the outside world..

Naqvi's comments put into perspective what politicians think of People of India...

what is need for Mr. Advani to participate in All-Party (tea party) meeting. He attending almost 20 All party meetings to make it clear for the congies that people need security.

But all his remarks barely made any change. If you take me or another other person, even the will do that same, if any of his/her friends dont listen to them even after saying again and again.

There is no need of wasting time in the All party meeting. Instead he could attend All people Meeting in Rajasthan and express his concern.

There is no wrong remarks made by mr. Naqvi. He is crystal clear and made his comments from the bottom of his heart. Any middle class or lower middle class people will make the same comments. who wants Candle vigils? we want them to vote for correct people, but not to corrupt people.

As a response to the above comments:Well if you think that Advani had ideas to ensure people's security, why he did not implement any of those during his government's 5+ years rule at the centre? There were equal number of terror strikes during his reign as Deputy Prime Minister. If he was sooo tough against terror, why his govt escorted hardcore terrorists like mazood azar to Afganistan, who now heads jaish-e-mohammed.So let's not talk in glorious terms about Advani...We all have seen what he did..As for Naqvi,if you are supporting his derogatory comments, well,I have nothing to say...
Take Care..
