Homage to Major Mohit Sharma and other martyred Indian Soldiers

‘I am proud of my son who laid down his life for the country. In every birth, I would want such a valiant person to be my son. He has held our heads high and defended the country’s sovereignty,’ said R.V. Sharma, the father of Major Mohit Sharma,who lost his life while fighting terrorists in Kupwara region of Jammu and Kashmir.

Few other Jawans were also killed.Sharma was part of Para-1 Regiment and was a resident of Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh.

‘He was a very cheerful person and was very dynamic since his childhood. Mohit always nurtured a dream of serving his country and doing something big. Although his family was somewhat reluctant to send him to the army, he was keen to join the armed forces,’ one of the relatives said.

Mr.R.V. Sharma,the Father of Mohit is a very brave man and a Great Patriot as can be guaged from his words even at this moment of grave tragedy to his family.He and his Son's love and dedication to the Country should be an eye-opener to those Indians who fight among themselves over petty issues.

Hope Mr.R.V. Sharma and his family will have all the support and blessings of all fellow Countrymen..
