Spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar took to Twitter on Friday to assure embattled godman Asaram Bapu that "people will forgive him" if he "publicly" admitted his mistake.

Asaram is accused of sexually molesting the teenaged daughter of his disciples at his ashram in Jodhpur and is apparently dodging police questioning.

"When men with high caliber and integrity make a mistake, they would punish themselves much more severely than the laws," Sri Sri tweeted.

"If you're a public figure & have made a mistake, you must publicly admit it. People have bigger hearts than you think. They'll forgive & forget," he said.

It's really sad to hear about the cold-blooded killing of Indian soldiers by paki army dogs.The fact that the Indian Soldiers were attacked and killed inside Indian territory is even more saddening.

As usual our politicians have made some noise about the dogs in our neighborhood.After a few days we all will forget about this.The loss will only be of the family members of the Soldiers who got killed.

paki dogs also knows what they need to do.Deny every thing.Say Indian media is creating war hysteria.And once India forgets about the attack, they strike again and the same process continues..

The dog knows that it can continue to bite..And hence it will continue to bite as long as we as Indians don't strike back.There is urgent need to make them realize that this is a very costly game they are playing.There is no use talking PEACE with cheaters.Make them bleed as they are doing to us.Bleed them to such an extend that they don't have any further blood..!!

Kudos to Ford India for the amazing price of the SUV.

With the success of Renault Duster and now Ford Ecosport, SUV segment is growing and is getting more competitive...Exciting times, as there could be stunning products that could come out from other auto majors as well :)

Acid Attack Victims

Vidya, a 20-year-old victim of acid attack, died in Chennai early Sunday. She had suffered severe burns and was being treated at the Government Kilpauk Hospital.

Hospital authorities said she had sustained fourth degree burns which had corroded soft tissues. She was also battling infection for the past four days.

On January 30, 20-year-old Vidya, who was working in an internet browsing centre in Adambakkam, was accosted by Vijaya Bhaskar. Vidya was alone at the centre during lunch time when Vijaya Bhaskar, angry that she had spurned him, confronted her. When he tried to throw a bottle of acid at her, she turned away, and the acid burnt her back. He prevented her from escaping by pushing her down onto the acid splashed on the floor. He then locked the door and escaped

Police had registered a case of attempt to murder. On Sunday morning, the case was amended to murder and registered it under Section 302 of IPC.

Few years in jail as a punishment is no compensation for the unbearable pain the victims goes through.

Companies to rule India

The central government says from now onwards the decision on whether to hike price of Diesel is left to oil companies.

Well, it's also being reported that the companies will be hiking prices on a monthly basis !!

An increase in diesel price will increase transportation cost and will invariably lead to increase in prices of essential commodities.

So leaving such a sensitive decision into the hands of oil companies makes you think why there is a Central government at all??

Like this, does the government plan to leave all decisions in various other fields also to corresponding companies in those fields ??

At this rate, we don't need a government at Delhi.

Before 1947, we were ruled by East India company.It seems we are gradually going back to that period, where-in various companies will decide our future !

Passing the burden of misrule by oil companies to common man does not require any leadership.

Ministers, bureaucrats will get free diesel and many such benefits and hence they don't need to worry about rising oil prices.

Does the Prime Minister has the guts to withdraw the freebies/subsidies given to politicians??

I bet people of India are soooo fed-up with UPA-2 government that they are eagerly waiting for the next general elections..

Real reason for cease-fire violation across Indo-pak border

Those foreign media and even those sane voices in pak who are believing the pak establishments blatant lies about India violating cease-fire and India firing first across the border, should understand one simple basic fact - and that fact is the real reason and the actual beneficiary of the firing across the LoC.

You don't need UN observers at the border to verify and tell who is starting the firing.

You also don't need to be a genius or a great military analyst to understand who benefits from disturbances at the border.

The firing on Indian border posts is done by pak army to give covering fire while their terrorists infiltrate into Indian territory.
It's a very very simple straight-forward logic or reason - whatever you many want to call it..

What else explains the firing ?

What does India gain by starting a cease-fire violation, when it's a known fact that it will only help pak to use it as a cover to push-in hard-core terrorists into Indian territory.

pak asking for UN observers to verify the facts on ground is just a ploy by them to get third party involved.May be the Indian government can take the help of neutral observers and show them the terror launch-pads across the LoC.

This double game by pakistan has gone on for a long time and it's about time India responds to this treachery.

pakistan is a nation which does not believe even in the basic tenants of war-time engagements on how to treat enemy soldiers.

On hearing the word 'brother', that drunk person's heart will melt like an 'ice cream on fire' and after that he will start crying, calling the girl as 'Sisterrrrrr.....'.

There will be lot of emotional roller-coaster scenes after that, with background music, ala an old melodramatic Hindi film.

So the main points girls should note down is (as per Asaram Technique):

1.Take God's name (You can even take Mr.Asaram Bapu's name.After all he is the dogman, sorry again, I meant the godman).

2.Take a Rakhi with you always, so that you can tie it on would-be-rapist and declare 'brotherrrrrrrrrrrrrr...' and apply breaks!

3.Take a separate wallet with you, so that when the 'brotherrrr..' starts crying, you can give the wallet to him, so that he can wipe his tears.

4.Make sure that the 'brotherrrr..' does not cry tooo much, else he could get fever, head-ache and cold. His parents might scold you! Also, the poor fellow should not suffer just because he tried to rape you.Be kind to him, you know!

5.Invite him to your house and introduce him to your parents and other family members as your 'brotherrrrrrrrrrrrrr...'.

Not sure why this "asaram" technique was not in use till now..

If you ask me, I would blame Mr.Asa ram also in equal terms for all the rapes that happened all through these years (post his supreme birth).

A husband and a wife are bound by a contract which says - you (woman) look after the household chores and satisfy me, I (man) will take care of your needs and will protect you. Till she delivers her duties without fail, he keeps her on the contract and if she fails to honour the contract, he disowns her. And if it is the husband who is not honouring the contract, she can also abandon him. One can go for a new contract then," he was quoted on channel CNN-IBN.
Later in the day, RSS spokesperson Ram Madhav said, Bhagwat had been misquoted and that he was referring to western marriage system being a contractual system. "The RSS chief has been misrepresented. What he said was Indian marriages were sacred while the western system of marriage is marked by contractual obligations," said Madhav.
Earlier, on Friday, while addressing a gathering of RSS workers in Silchar (Assam), Bhagwat said rapes happened in cities and not in the rural areas. "Such crimes (rapes) hardly take place in Bharat, but they frequently occur in India," Bhagwat had said indicating that "westernisation" in Indian cities was the reason behind increasing cases of rapes.

Crimes against women happen in India and not in Bharat

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat says 'crimes against women happen in India and not in Bharat'.

When this comment became a huge controversy, BJP defends him saying "The present controversy relating to certain comments of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat is totally uncalled for and unnecessary. His comments are required to be seen and understood in entirety. He was referring to India's sanskar, tradition and value system where respect for women occupies a pride of place"..

When Mr.Bhagwat says rapes does not happen in Bharat (by Bharat he seems to be referring to rural India), and that rapes happen in India (by India he seems to be referring to urban India and that rapes are happening due to westernisation!) - how does this relate to India's sanskar, tradition, value system !!!


The plain fact, is Mr.Bhagwat seems to be living in an ivory tower, far away from ground realities.

How on earth some one who is old enough like him and some one who has lived in India claim that rapes does not happen in Bharat !!

Let him first of all get his facts right..AND DON'T LIE..

Even the reported cases of rapes and crimes against women are more in rural areas..

Also to suggest that westernization is the cause of rapes is ..., well, hope Mr.Bhagwat 'gets well soon'.

If westernisation (and by that Mr.Bhagwat seems to be referring to the dress culture and all) is the cause of rapes, what explains rape of even new borne babies????

The irony here is, whatever RSS leaders say - utter non-sense or buffoonery or blah blah blah, the BJP leaders wants us to treat all those foolish statements with respect..

Sorry to say this, but the BJP looks like a septic tank for all the waste coming out of RSS..

UPA-2 sole achievement

It's being reported that Diesel, kerosene, LPG prices may soon be hiked..

Well, not really a surprise..

Frequent price hike of essential commodities and a PM who comes out in the open and opens his mouth only to talk about imminent hikes..

That's seems to be the only achievement of UPA-2.

On all others fronts, it's a government that's a total failure..

Wonder, if the politicians, ministers and bureaucrats like Montek Singh Aluwalia are made to bear their travel, food and accommodation expenses, they would have long back found out a solution to overcome these frequent hikes, which only affects common man..
