Third Fronts' one of the PM-in-sleeping,sorry I mean PM-in-waiting candidates Deve Gowda doing what he does best.SLEEP.Sleep in a public function.A photo published in eenadu.net (which is pasted here),speaks volumes about his "sleeping" committment to the people..!!

He might argue that he is deeply engulfed in serious thoughts about how to help poor farmers and is not sleeping;but then the people of this Country knows best..
Even after receiving lots of negative media coverage for his legendary on-stage sleeps during his term as Prime Minister,he continues with this habit.Some body was saying in one of the channels the other day that nobody can blame Deve Gowda for any thing wrong that happened when he was PM,why?Because he was sleeping..!!

May be,it's better for the media to report only those functions in which he does not sleep.But then Deve Gowda in a public function and not sleepingg??? Kabhi nahi..
Not possible yaarr...Impossibleee...

If any body has got a simple innocent doubt on what this person is doing during night time,it's a genuine doubt worth getting an answer from the horse's mouth itself..


Thing to note:-Deve Gowda is Deve Gowda because of the concept of 'The Art Of Public Sleeping',of which he is the patented Guru.Ofcourse,when he makes a public speech,the public goes to sleep.And if he reads a hindi speech,well,the public has no choice,but to run away as quickly as possible from the scene.Looking from that point of view,it's better if he continues to sleep and entertain us.

It's for the Indian public to decide whether he should be sleeping in PM's chair,once again..!

Cultural showcasing with hate speeches

A Person's culture and upbringing can be guaged from the way he conduts himself,the way he treats his elders.


Shiv Sena executive President Uddhav Thackeray's culture is obvious from the way he spoke in an election rally recently.He called the Prime Minister of our Country a eunuch.

Shiv Sena is a self-declared custodian of Hindu culture.It's ironic that Mr.Uddhav does not even know the fundamental ideals of Hindu culture,that is respecting our elders.

Manmoham Singh may be from an opposition party,but he is a well respected elderly statesman.It's highly objectionable to insult him.One he is,as I said an elderly person,second he is the Prime Minister of India.

Ofcourse,every body in India has the right to criticise our PM.He is not above criticisim.His performance should be debated.But it's not Indian or Hindu culture to hurl personal insults.

Hate speeches,personal insults,communal and threatening speeches should have no place in our Country.Those who violate 'public sense' should be dealt with appropriately by the law of the land.

Speeches like the ones made by Varun Gandhi,where he threatened our fellow muslim brothers,by SP leader Mulayam Singh Yadav,where he blatantly threatened a woman election agent and many many other highly avoidable and objectionable 'mouth blastings' should be avoided and should be prevented at any cost..

There is still provision for all of us to be united and India ofcourse is a cause worth dying for.It's beyond me,why we keep fighting amongst ourselves on silly petty issues most of the time.

As far as hate speeches and insulting comments goes,one should always remember that words once out of mouth cannot be taken back.Most of the time such speeches would have caused irreparable damages,even before the person who spoke those words could introspect,if at all he does want to make amends.

There was another news item which caught the eye.It's words from Sri Rama Sene chief Pramod Muthalik.

"He has the guts to speak the truth. Sri Rama Sene would support him. I think every true Hindu would support him," Muthalik said at a function organised by the Vishwa Hindu Dharma Rakshana Vedike on Monday evening about Varun Gandhi's hate speeches.

Describing Varun as the only hero of the Nehru clan, Muthalik said that by his statement the young leader has made Hindus realise that they were being treated badly in the country.

Muthalik also discouraged Hindus from doing business with Muslims.

Now first of all if people from one religion starts stopping doing business with people from other religions and vice-versa,not even God WILL BE ABLE SAVE OUR COUNTRY.

Also if the whole world adopts this Muthalikan Theory,India will be isolated.Why?Because most of the other countries in the world are either Christian majority or Muslim majority countries..!!

Now,about Hindus being treated badly in our Country,well,I am a Hindu,I know for a fact that I am treated as well or as badly as any other fellow citizens of this Country.There is no targeted bad treatment..

Muthalik is badly mistaken if he thinks "every true Hindu would support" Varun's hate speeches against our own fellow citizens.Only lunatic monsters would support such speeches.I fail to understand what his definition of a true Hindu is.

A true Hindu means one who propogates hatred??
Absolutely not.It's the responsibility of all Hindus to ensure that such utterings does not show our great religion in a bad light throughout the world..

Being from a Hindu religion which is the majority community in our Country,I always felt that it's the primary responsibility of Hindus to strive for peace and unity.Ofcourse,people from all other religions also has that responsibility.I meant "Primary" responsibility.Or may be I should amend myself and say that every body,I meant "EVERY BODY" has equal responsibility to ensure that we as a Nation stay united..

We need to isolate.Yes,we need to isolate divisive personalities so that we as a Nation does not fall into the trap of infighting,the scale of which is visible now a days in pakistan..!!!

Homage to Major Mohit Sharma and other martyred Indian Soldiers

‘I am proud of my son who laid down his life for the country. In every birth, I would want such a valiant person to be my son. He has held our heads high and defended the country’s sovereignty,’ said R.V. Sharma, the father of Major Mohit Sharma,who lost his life while fighting terrorists in Kupwara region of Jammu and Kashmir.

Few other Jawans were also killed.Sharma was part of Para-1 Regiment and was a resident of Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh.

‘He was a very cheerful person and was very dynamic since his childhood. Mohit always nurtured a dream of serving his country and doing something big. Although his family was somewhat reluctant to send him to the army, he was keen to join the armed forces,’ one of the relatives said.

Mr.R.V. Sharma,the Father of Mohit is a very brave man and a Great Patriot as can be guaged from his words even at this moment of grave tragedy to his family.He and his Son's love and dedication to the Country should be an eye-opener to those Indians who fight among themselves over petty issues.

Hope Mr.R.V. Sharma and his family will have all the support and blessings of all fellow Countrymen..

This post is a humble attempt at paying Homage to Major Mohit Sharma and fellow Soldiers who lost their life fighting terrorists in Kupwara.May God bless their souls to rest in peace...

As reported by the news channels,it seems the gun battle is still going on.Let's hope and pray that there is no more Indian casuality and all the Indian Soldiers fighting there will come back safe and secure and all the terrorists will be liquidated..

Yes,that's what CPI(M) general secretary Prakash Karat is dreaming of.He said the Third Front would come first in the coming Lok Sabha elections...!

This surely will happen if we start to count in the reverse direction :0

Karat's party,the CPI(M) is contesting as a joke in most of the constituencies other than ofcourse in West Bengal,Kerala & Tripura,and is not expected to win even 50 seats all through India.One of his partners, Mayawati, has already announced that her party the BSP,will contest in all seats in UP and in many other states.

Still there is no end to Karat's BIG dreams..

Obama's new bluder policies

There was a news flasing this evening in the channels.It seems America has asked India to pull back troops along the Indo-Pakistan border as a gesture of goodwill...!!!

India has rightly ruled this out.We should have rejected it with the 'strongest possible words and with the contempt it deserves'.A mere rejection was not enough.We should have told the US to go to hell...

Goodwill gesture...!! After all the terror attacks on India,we should show goodwill to pakis??

The new foolish US administration thinks,if India withdraws troops from border,pakistan can then withdraw it's tropps from the Indian border and concentrate on fighting the taliban..

What an idea..
Only the new US administration understands how sincere pakistan is in fighting terrorism..!
Except for those pakistani troops which are deployed on the Indian side of the border,all other pakistani soldiers,policemen,pakistani politicians,ISI,pak navy,airforce,cilvians etc etc,all are fighting terrorism with all their might.pakistan is now truely a role model.

In future whenever there is terrorism in any part of the world,America,should first ask India to withdraw troops from the border,so that pakistan then could pull off it's troops from Indian border and deploy the troops any where in the world..!!

NDTV reports that the Indian Foreign Secretary was told in no uncertain terms by America that India, not Pakistan should make the first moves towards restoring the peace process..!!

So let pakistan keep on sending terrorists to India,India should continue begging for peace with pakistan.

By the same yardstick America should declare that they are willing to have peace talks with Osama Bin Laden and taliban.

Varun Gandhi show of loyality to BJP

God knows what Mr.Varun Gandhi was upto.Was he trying to show to the BJP that he was very loyal to them,by his anti-India and anti-Muslim comments?

I said anti-India because his comments does not show India in good light.We are a compassionate,vibrant,young,democratic,secular republic and we are a Nation that respects human values.Varun Gandhi's utterences are in total variance from our Nation's cherished values..

“I am proud of my faith and not apologetic of it. I am a Gandhi, a Hindu and an Indian in equal measure.” Varun Gandhi said trying to divert attention and refusing to apologise for the blatantly provocative and highly malicious chain of speeches he made during his election campaign,especially targetting the Muslim community in India...

Every Indian should be proud of being an Indian,SURE.
Every Hindu,every Muslim,every Christian etc should be proud of their religion,sure.

There are bad people in every community,there is a situation where a few mis-guided youth of our Muslim community has taken to terrorism.But how come the fault of a few be generalised to the whole community??

After watching the videos of all the speeches he made,I must say he does not seem to be either an Indian or a Hindu or a Gandhi.

It's not Indian culture of tolerance and love he was preaching.He was asking to cut hands,head etc,and he now claims he is a Gandhi...!!
In his hate speech earlier he also had hinted that Gandhi's policy of non-violence was foolishness..!!

No true Hindu can say only Hindus stay here in India and our Muslim brothers should go to pakistan.This is a highly irresponsible attempt to turn Indians against Indians.He inturn is helping pakistan,by making we Indians fight amongst ourselves.

Among other things he also said "My attempt is to instill confidence in a community which feels it is under siege in their own country".

He say he wants to instill confidence in Hindu community which is under siege.First of all there could be other rabid religious monsters who need his style of confidence,not true Indians and true Hindus.Real Hindus will be ashamed of the sort of statements he made.The speeches were sooo communal that even the communal BJP has to distance itself from it.

Varun's speeches only help to tarnish the image of India and Hindus in the eyes of the world.There has been wide-spread coverage about this,and as an Indian and as a Hindu I am totally shocked and ashamed of these dirty rantings from this new communal creature.

Prakash Karat-The Utopian Chief of India's Left

Mr. Praksh Karat,the Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader addressing a press conference after releasing the party's manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, accused the UPA government of committing the "biggest betrayal" by forging a strategic alliance with the U.S.

He says if his '3rd front' comes to power at the centre,it will review and rework the nuclear deal.

But the problem for Karat is the big "if".If the '3rd front' comes to power...
It won't come to power,so Karat won't need to take the pain of a 'review and rework'.

He is a real fool if he is dreaming of ruling India with his '3rd front crowd',which already is fighting over 'who is going to be the PM'...
Mayawati wants the '3rd front crowd' to declare her as the PM candidate and she is going to contest the elections alone.Jayalalitha is ready to become PM for ages..
Deve Gowda dreams of having a nice sleep sitting in the PMs' chair..
Who knows,may be even Karat wants to be PM..

He should first of all try and fix his party headed ruling combine's infighting in Kerala,which is triggered in the first place by his party itself.In Kerala,there is infighting within his party and between his party and the party's partners...

It's absolutelty clear that his party and the so-called left-front won't get anywhere near the number of seats they got in the last Lok Sabha election,this time.

He criticised the BJP for following a communal agenda, and said it would not come to power. Referring to the attacks against minorities in the BJP-ruled Karnataka and in Kandhamal area of Orissa, where the BJP was in the ruling alliance, he said: 'The country cannot accept such a party pursuing the communal agenda.'

The irony is,Karat's party is wooing the earlier partner of BJP in Orissa,BJD to enter into the '3rd front'.It was BJD's Biju Patnaik who was the CM of orissa when all the communal violence that shook Orissa happened.BJD broke away from BJP only because of differences in seat-sharing.But Karat does not care about all this.This is a simple case of a really big 'double-standard'...

Emphasising the need for a non-Congress, non-BJP government at the centre, he said: 'We have spelled out alternative policies and want the new government to follow them. We need a non-Congress, non-Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) alternative government.'

With a party having an all India strength confined only to Kerala,West Bengal and Tripura,he has the audacity to say that the new Government will have to follow the policies spelled out by him.. ;-D

The CPI-M general secretary alleged that the UPA government had adopted an 'attitude of hesitation and compromise' on communal issues. He referred to attacks on minorities in Orissa and Karnataka and the central government's delay in intervening to curb the violence.

He rightly criticizes the BJP for having a communal agenda.But for God's sake,then what's TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and many other leaders who till few years or few months or few days ago were with the communal BJP,doing in the '3rd front crowd'..!!
Mayawati,Jayalalitha etc were BJP's partners at one time or the other.Deva Gowda's son Kumaraswamy,who is also a 3rd front leader,ruled Karnataka with the support of BJP,till recently.Is Karat saying that now those individuals and parties are secular,because they are with him,at this moment..??

Mr.Karat will be making a fool of himself if he is trusting his new so-called secular friends.They have the 'thick-skiness' to jump to any of the other two fronts,any time...

So it's better not to talk much about anti-communalism,it's only about oppurtunism...

Also for another reason Karat does not have the moral authority to talk about communalism.His party in Kerala openly seeks and is being backed by the overtly communal PDP of Abdul Nasar Madani.This is the same Madani,who was send to jail for terror linkages.One of the reason for the fight his party is having with another communist party in Kerala is because his party has put up a PDP supported candidate in Ponnani consituency.

The sort of person Karat is can be guaged from the fact that he claims credit for whatever good things he feels the UPA government has done.He had claimed credit for protecting thousands of jobs and the money invested in insurance, banking and pension, saying only constant Left intervention had kept the country's financial sector healthy...!!

So whatever good things that happened and is happening and that's going to happen in India is because of Mr.Prakash Karat.What rubbish..!!

May be in future,some other leader of Jyothi Basu's stature will term the elevation of Karat as Left chief as the 'second major historical blunder' committed by the left forces of India.

But as of now Karat really is a '24-Karat' Gold...!!!!!

Former Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman's warning to India

"The attack on the Sri Lankan team in Lahore is clearly a part of a bigger conspiracy by elements to isolate Pakistan as a sporting nation. There is no guarantee that they will not target other Asian countries as well," said former Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Nasim Ashraf who resigned as the PCB Chairman in August last year.

"If such elements succeed in their aim of turning Pakistan into a no-go country for foreign teams in terms of security, there is no guarantee they will not try to do the same with India as well and try to scare teams away from playing in India," he said.

This seems to be clear and blatant warning to India if India does not support pakistan cricket board in its effort to get international teams to play in pakistan..
The Indian government and BCCI & IPL should take note of this.

Mr.Ashraf seems to suggest that there could be attacks against international teams in India.May be he is in the loop of some such master terror plan that's being hatched by the pakistani terror sponsor spy agency,the ISI..!!

There is enough hints emerging from all quarters that the attack on the Sri Lankan team in pakistan was carried out by pakistan's premier terror organization,the LeT.Still pakistan has not been able to arrest even a single terrorist involved in that deadly attack till date..

If ever any attempted terror attack happens against any international sporting team in India,it will only be from a pakistani terror organization.There won't be a need for any investigation to prove it.

India should take this indirect threatening statement from the former Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman very seriously and must ensure that no untoward incident happens in India against any teams in our soil..

Otis now wants to get back the Gandhi articles he sold

Mr. James Otis,the earlier owner of Mahatma Gandhi's personal belongings now wants them back,after putting those for auction and after Vijay Mallya won the auction..!

Even Mahatma's relatives are upset with this man's frequent flip-flops.One day he says he is willing to give the articles to the Indian government free of cost,next day backtracks and puts conditions.The flip-flops continues..

And if you have a look at some of his known conditions,it can only be categorised as 'absurd'.His known conditions are,"increase in the spending on the poor by the Indian government and fully paid exhibition of Gandhi's items in 78 countries to spread the apostle of peace's message of non-violence."

Whatever may be the merit of the suggestion for increased spending for poor,he should remember that he is not talking to some other private individuals.India is a soverign,independent and a proud nation.He should not be dictating terms to India and he should not be telling us what to do regarding our internal matters.He is a foreign national and he has no moral authority to force India to make policy changes according to his whims and fancies..

If he has so much care for the poor in India,let him get permission from the government and use the money he will be receiving from the auction for setting up some welfare activity in India for the poor.

Regarding his second condition,"fully paid exhibition of Gandhi's items in 78 countries to spread the apostle of peace's message of non-violence.",well,I don't know which are the 78 countries he has in mind,but I am not sure an exibition of Gandhi's items will bring peace.

Will such an exhibition have any change of mindset in countries like pakistan,Afganistan??
Surely not.

I am not trying to degrade Gandhiji' message of love,peace and non-violence,but can Otis,guarantee that after all the huge effort needed for this proposal to materialize,there will be total peace in those 78 countries?

Gandhiji's message is still very much relevant today.But this exibition stuff and all...
If such symbolisms will bring peace,the world would have been a Heaven much earlier...!!

May be I am not able to convey the message properly here,but I do think that an exhibition of Gandhi's belongings world over is unnecessary waste of money and effort .That money could be used for the poor,I suppose...!!

There are other optimal ways of spreading Gandhi's message.

It's for the government of India to talk to this guy through the government of the country he belongs and try and understand what is his real motive,what he actually wants.

Hopefully he is not trying to stay in limelight and have cheap publicity.If this is his real motive,then he is insulting Gandhiji's memories.

He says he wants the articles back as he thinks there is already politics over it because the gentleman who bought them belong to the opposition party..!!!
Well,this is a new information to even those in India.Vijay Mallya belongs to an opposition party??

Either some body is misguiding Mr.Otis or he is just ignorant.
Mallya is a business tycoon and as far I know he does not belong to either the BJP or Janata Dal(S),the two main opposition parties of the Congress party in Karnataka(The state to which Mallya belongs).How come Otis say that he is an oposition party member?

It's true that Union Culture Minister Ambika Soni tried to claim credit for the successful auction.But once Mallya refuted it and facts became known,the government accepted Mallya's effort and there was no controversy after that.

So it's not true to say that it has become a political issue.

Mr.Otis should either return the Gandhi items to India or get lost..!!
And it's time,India decides once and for all,whether we really need these items back,and if the answer is yes,it's better to deal with the government of Otis' parent country,instead of directly talking to a private individual..

Hard reality for Sharad Pawar

“There is a feeling among Maharashtrian people that a number of states like Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, and Karnataka have got a chance to occupy the Prime Minister’s office.So Maharashtra should get an opportunity as well,” NCP leader Sharad Pawar told NDTV in an exclusive interview.

That was Sharad Pawar,doing kite flying for himself.But he is a pragmatic person and so he himself says,“If my party is contesting hardly 30-35 seats in the entire country, how can anybody expect that I can take the responsibility to lead the nation with such a small number,” Pawar said.

Alas,Sharad Pawar got it wrong when he said that a number of states like Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat,and Karnataka have got a chance to occupy the Prime Minister’s office.Well,It's not these states or persons from these states who occupied the Prime Minister's office.That's not the correct way to put it.It's Indians.If only Pawar can get out of his regionalistic mindset,he could be an acceptable candidate as PM for the whole of India,some time in the future,possibly.

But apparently he is trying to put his feet in two boats recently.Even though his party is in alliance with the Congress,he seems to be warming up to the Shiv Sena as well.This does not show Pawar in a good light.

Befitting reply to former pak president Musharraf

"Indian Muslims are capable of solving their problems... We don't need your advice.. Don't try to alienate Indian Muslims by your remarks, here or in Pakistan."

This blunt message was conveyed to former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf by a prominent Muslim leader Mehmood Madani at a function in India.

Madani, member of Rajya Sabha and leader of Jamat-e-Ulema-i-Hind, made it clear to the Pakistani leader that he or his country need not bother about the condition of Muslims in India.

"Don't start your politics of Pakistan from here," Madani told Musharraf after the latter claimed that Muslims in India were alienated and suggested that this was one of the reasons for terrorism here.

Virtually retorting the former Pakistani military ruler, Madani said, "Pakistan ki jitni total population hai , us se zyada population hai Indian Muslims ki . (Population of Muslims in India is more than that total population of Pakistan). You should be knowing this."

When Musharraf said he was aware of it, Madani said "If you know this, then you should also know that Indian Muslims have the capability to solve their problems. We don't need your advise. Don't try to alienate Indian muslims by your remarks, here or in Pakistan."

Extremists in Pakistan, musharraf said, have turned violent because they were showing "solidarity" with India's Muslims. "You should set your house in order," he said.
This is another of his foolish quotes..!
He ruled pakistan as an all powerful army chief cum president for about 9 years.After his rule,look where pakistan is.It's a big mess out there,a jungle for terrorists and criminals.He should not be lecturing India on keeping our house in order.He should have kept his own house in order when he ruled for so long..!!


First of it's not clear why the Indian Government cleared a visit to India by the old Kargil backstabber Musharraf.He is now an ordinary fellow trying desperately hard to stay in the limelight.He comes to India,gives lectures saying that pakistan's terror sponsoring,dirty intelligence agency ISI does only what India's agency RAW does...!!
What rubbish...

Now as is clear from the above statement made by him on Indian Muslims,he is trying to create a vedge between Indians,by saying that Indian Muslims are alienated.

This guy should be immediately thrown out of our Country and he should not be allowed to put his dirty feet on our Sacred Soil.Mr.Mehmood Madani deserves all around praise for saying what he did.Indian Muslims can indeed resolve whatever problems they have within the framework of the Indian Constitution.

Indian Army Jawan joins LeT

Times of India reports that an Indian Army jawan has deserted the army, fleeing with three rifles and ammunition, and joined Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Zaffarullah Khan Parray of Behlulia, Doda escaped from Anta camp of the territorial army unit in Dachan area with two AK rifles, one insas rifle, five AK magazines, twi insas magazines and some ammunition last night, police said.

The army and police launched a major operation to track down the absconding jawan, who had apparently joined the Lashkar-e-Taiba outfit, they said.


This is a news of real concern.Apparently he already might have been an LeT operative even before he joined the Army.Joining army might have been a ploy to get inside knowledge.Hopefully the Army will check whether this fugitive has any sensitive data with him.Indian Army should ensure that such traitors don't get into the Army in the first place by even more tougher background check and all.

Imran Khan Unmasked

Former pakistan cricketer imran khan's views expressed in an interview published online by The Times of London,could surprise many.It could be a rude shock to many.Not to me.I must say.

He says "The Taleban were never a threat to the Western world. These were semi-literate medieval people with a fundamentalist rudimentary understanding of Islam mixed with Afghan culture. If anything they were a bit of an embarrassment to educated Muslims. It was a fundamental mistake to make them the enemy.”

imran should have clearly answered ,if taliban was not a threat to the world,why were they giving shelter to osama bin laden??Is pakistan safer now,after the take-over of pakistani territory in swat valley by the taliban?Is taliban doing great service to pakistan by destroying schools,music shops etc?There are daily reports of terror attacks from every corner of pakistan.

He denies that Pakistan is now a breeding ground for terrorists. “The madrassas may be producing fundamentalists but there is a difference between fundamentalists and militant extremists.”

imran khan seems to be living in a fool's paradise.Even pakistani columnists now more or less accept the fact that pakistan is the epi-centre of terrorism.

He says he does not condone suicide bombing.
But he justifies suicide attacks as follows, “Suicide bombing is a result of extreme desperation where you have such hatred and anger that you are willing to use your body as a weapon. God forbid anything happened to my family but I can understand that if something happens to your dear ones then in anger . . . ”

On being asked whether the system prevailing there is fair to women,he hides behind the following excuse “Ah that is a cultural issue”.
This idea on women comes from a man who was a playboy during his cricket playing days.He even married a British lady(now divoced).There were reports about his illegitimate relationship with another foreign lady,Sita White,who had claimed that imran is the father of her child..!

His view that the lawless jungle areas of pakistan and Afganistan has the most decentralised, democratic system ever,is a joke,to put it mildly.Never thought this man could be sooo stupid.His dream is to one day form his own government and rule pakistan.One could not imagine what will pakistan look like if ever imran gets a chance to rule.pakistan is already at the bottom of all things bad that a country could be.


He believes a "foreign element" could be involved in this week's attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team.

He is convinced that Pakistani extremists were being made the scapegoats. “Almost all the terrorism taking place here since 2004 when Pakistan sent its army into the tribal areas has been suicide attacks. Last year there were over 100 suicide attacks – but they have a pattern. They are always in retaliation.”

This week’s ambush by 12 gunmen was, he says, different. “They had an escape route – it was well planned. I certainly don’t think this was done by ideological terrorists, motivated to blow themselves up.”
He says the motive of the so-called foreign-hand is "to damage the state of Pakistan and end cricket here."

There is no need for India or Afganistan or Tamil tigers to try and damage pakistan.imran khan's so-called "scapegoats" themselves have done enough damage already.Also he seems to suggest that terrorists attack happens only as a retaliation.This is the most blatant and open support to terrorism that can come from the mouth of a political leader.

One of the reasons he gave for suggesting that the attack on the Lankan team was different is because,in his own words "They had an escape route"...
There seems to be a contradiction here.If he thinks "They had an escape route",then why would pakistani state give escape route to foreign-hands..??Not a single terrorists who attacked were either caught or killed or injured.They just casually walked away after the attack..!!
imran would do well to look inward.Local-hand and not foreign.There are enough "hands" available locally,who has official patronage,and this could explain why the attackers could walk away freely after the attack..

From whichever angle imran khan's views are studied,it's clear as day-light that even those persons whom the outside world look upon as resonable individuals in pakistan are having extreme and dangerous views...Some of those views are really comic,I should say..

Sri Lankan Cricket Team to fight terrorism..!!

Background to this Post:
The attack on the Sri Lankan Cricket team bus at Lahore,when they were going to Gaddafi Stadium.10 to 12 heavily armed terrorists opened fire using modern weapons,used rocket launcher.Killed 6 to 7 pakistani security personnel.Not a single terrorists who attacked were caught or killed or even injured.Later some footages released in some pak news channel showed the attackers casually walking away and vanishing from the scene in motor bykes...!!

The Match refree,the Australian umpires,Sril Lankan spinner Murali all attacked the very casual and inadequate security that was provided to the convoy.

By God's grace the Sri Lankan team members are still alive.six to seven Sri Lankan players got injured.Injuries caused by bullet wounds,sharpnels.The rocker narrowly missed the bus,some reports suggested.

Now coming to the matter I want to write here,just read below an unbelievable piece of information..

Noted columnist Jawed Naqvi writing for the Dawn wished the Sri Lankans hadn't left. He wrote, "Had the Sri Lankan players not been so jolted by the vicious attack in Lahore, I would have wanted them to go and play the match to the finish for that would be the best way to lead the counter-attack on terrorism. The din of the applause would be enough to pulverise the terrorists in their lair. Abandoning the match was the easier option, but then we are used to more grievous compromises."

pakistani columnist naqvi wanted the Sri Lankan team "to go and play the match to the finish for that would be the best way to lead the counter-attack on terrorism".He also meant the terrorists would have felt defeated by the applause...!!!

Hahaha... a slap-stick comedy..??


He had the audacity to suggest that the injured,terrified,shaken Sri Lankan players should continue playing,continue playing in pakistan,which is a heaven for terrorists,who operate under state patronage.For what?The reason he gives is "to lead the counter-attack on terrorism"..!!

pakistan is an official sponsor of terror,not even pakistan's "all-weather-friend" china would disagree.

If the pakistani state starts stopping the support to terrorists,destroys the high-level and high-tech terror infrastructure in pakistan,that will be the first step to counter terrorism.

The Sril Lankan team and the Sri Lankan government won't be sooo foolish a second time to think like Mr.naqvi.The Lankan authorities already had made the first big foolish mistake of playing in pakistan,especially after the Indian team cancelled it's tour schedule.

Shakil, the younger brother of Pakistani driver Mehar Mohammed Khalil praised for his quick thinking that saved Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore's terror attack, was a "jihadi" killed by Indian security forces in Kashmir in anti-militancy operation in 1995, a news report has said. "In 1995 his younger brother, Shakil, was killed fighting for a jihadist militant group in Indian-administered Kashmir," The Times newspaper reported.

According to the report, Khalil welcomed his well wishers in the backdrop of "a photograph of his dead brother, with a Kalashnikov rifle over his shoulder, a camouflage cap on his head and a radio in one hand". Printed in Urdu across the photograph were the words 'Mujahid martyred in Kashmir. Died in Udampur, India, 25 August 1995. Codename Abdullah.' the report said.

As he spoke, a relative whisked away the photograph of his dead brother. "He is also a supporter of Jamaat-e-Islami", the Islamist political party "that wants to impose Sharia across Pakistan and to use the army to kick India out of Kashmir", the British daily said. But like most Pakistanis, Khalil was also unwilling to consider the possibility that the attackers were home-grown. "Their complexions were Indian-type," he said. "They were definitely not Pakistani. Foreign forces are involved in this," he was quoted as saying by the newspaper.

Pakistan Interior ministry chief Rehman Malik had ruled out the involvement of India or the Tamil Tigers in the Lahore incident. He said al-Qaeda could have been involved in the attack. According to a Pakistani media report, the preliminary investigations into the attack on Sri Lankan cricket team have suggested that Lashkar-e-Tayiba activists, who went underground after a crackdown on the group last year, could have carried out the assault.

The initial probe suggested that a group of "headstrong" LeT activists, who went underground and hid in the garrison city of Rawalpindi after the crackdown on the terrorist group and its front organisation Jamaat-ud-Dawah, had acted on its own and carried out the attack, the Dawn newspaper quoted its sources as saying.


The driver of the Sri Lankan cricket team bus was a fellow who is very proud of his brother who was a terrorist killed in India...!!!

There is nothing more one needs to say about the state of affairs in pakistan....

3rd front to decide on PM after polls

The third front being formed for the coming Lok Sabha polls, which includes the Communist parties, AIADMK, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Janata Dal-Secular (JD-S), will choose its prime ministerial candidate only after the polls, TDP leader K. Yerrannaidu said Tuesday.

"We, the third front, will fight elections together. We are in a very comfortable position. I can't predict how many seats we will get in the elections but we will get a clear mandate to form the government. We will chose our prime minister after the polls," Naidu, who is currently touring his Srikakulam constituency in Andhra Pradesh, told IANS on telephone.


A very wise decision indeed.Because the 3rd front surely won't need to decide on PM after the polls.

pakistanis indulging in comic relief at the cost of the Lankan Team

Six escorting security personnel were killed and six Sri Lankan cricketers as well as the assistant coach were injured when the Lankan team cavalcade was targeted by heavily armed gunmen close to the Gaddafi Stadium while they were going to play the third day of the second Test against Pakistan.

Since the Lankan team is involved and since there is heavy casualities being suffered by the terror organization LTTE in the ongoing fighting in Sri Lanka,some people are not ruling out the possibility of an LTTE revenge behind this attack.But this is highly unlikely,given the mode of the attack,the place of attack and so many other factors.

One crucial information that has come out is that the route of the bus was changed because there was prior intelligence of a possible terror attack on the Lankan bus.If this news is true,then it means that some one passed on to the terrorists the information about the change in route.

The terror attack should be condemned by all right thinking people.The Lankan team will be in a state of shock and the entire situation is very dangerous.And it's quite unfortunate for those peace loving,good pakistanis who would like to watch some cricket at their home turf because it's highly improbable that any team will be visiting this talibani terror jungle in the next 4 to 5 years.This is the sad part apart from the loss of live.

Now coming to the comic part of this barbaric terror attempt on Lankan cricketers,pakistan has started blaming India for the attack within a few hours...!

Indian involvement in the terror attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team cannot be ruled out, Lahore Commissioner Khushro Pervaiz was quoted as saying Tuesday.

India was trying to weaken Pakistan, added Gen (retired) Hameed Gul, a former chief of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

He told Geo News that India wanted to declare Pakistan a terrorist state and the firing on the Sri Lankan team was related to that conspiracy.

These gentlemen,especially Mr.gul knows that India does not need to do such things.Why should India do such things when pakistani terrorists themselves are there to do such things.gul,being a former isi chief and a former terror sponsor himself,will surely know that pakistan still continues the same terror policies,may be more vigorously now than before,that were there when he was the isi chief.The policy of all sorts of help to terrorists.This terror sponsoring was targeted against India and Afganistan.It's an irony that now the same terrorists have started doing open target practise inside pakistan.

Now,coming to the Mumbai terror attack,India accused pakistan of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks because India caught red-handed a pakistani terrorist.Also India has got incriminatingly stunning evidences of almost a direct pak army involvement.So India's accusation, of pakistanis behind the Mumbai terror attack, from the very first day of the Mumbai attack was justified,because it was based on solid,strong evidence.

By accusing India for the attack on the Lankan team,pakistan is actually making itself a fool before the whole world,because the world knows the real facts.World knows what to believe,facts or fictional statements coming out from pakistan.World knows where the terror infrastructure is.World knows where the safe heaven for terrorists is..
