First Thing Obama Might Have To "Change"

Barack Hussein Obama was today elected 44th president of the
United States.Mr. Obama, 47, a first-term senator from Illinois,
defeated Senator John McCain of Arizona, 72, a former prisoner
of war who was making his second bid for the presidency. He got
an overwhelming mandate in the electoral college - 338 votes
to McCain's 158.

“If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is
a place where all things are possible, who still wonders if the
dream of our founders is alive in our time, who still questions
the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer,” said Obama
after his win.

“It’s been a long time coming,” the president-elect added, “but
tonight, because of what we did on this date in this election at
this defining moment, change has come to America.”

Barack's main campaign theme was "Change","Change" and "Change".

Guess what ..he himself may need to change..
See him smoking in the picture below..
There is a no smoking policy in the white house.
So first and foremost he himself need to change...!!!

Don't know the autheticity of the above photo..
Still it's widely known that he was a heavy smoker
earlier and he still has not quit smoking completely.

Any way it has been a historic win for him.
Hope his regime will be very very friendly towards India.

His words about influence of Mahatma Gandhi in his life is
a pleasant surprise.

"In my life, I have always looked to Mahatma Gandhi as an
inspiration, because he embodied the kind of transformational
change that can be made when ordinary people come together to
do extraordinary things," Obama wrote in an article. "That is
why his portrait hangs in my Senate office; to remind me that
real results will not just come from Washington, they will
come from the people."

So once again let's all Indians hope,he will be very keen to have
good relations with India.
