Every body would have atleast heard about The Da Vinci Code movie,if not seen the movie.Any one who read the book The Da Vinci Code would agree that the film failed to do,even 50%,justice to the fiction.
The author of this incredible book is Dan Brown,an American, born on June 22, 1964.Brown is interested in cryptography, keys, and codes, which are a recurring theme in his stories. Currently his novels have been translated into more than 40 languages.
Although many perceive Brown's books as anti-Christian, Brown states on his website that he is a Christian and says of his book The Da Vinci Code that it is simply "an entertaining story that promotes spiritual discussion and debate".
Brown's first three novels had little success, with fewer than 10,000 copies in each of their first printings; but the fourth novel, The Da Vinci Code, became a runaway bestseller, going to the top of the New York Times Best Seller list during its first week of release in 2003. It is now credited with being one of the most popular books of all time.
The Da Vinci Code 's success has helped push sales of Brown's earlier books.
Those books are :-
Digital Fortress (1998),
Angels & Demons(2000),and
Deception Point(2001).
Angels & Demons is in the same gene as The Da Vinci Code,while the other tow books are science fictions.
All the 3 books are fascinating reading.
Dan Brown is currently working on a new novel called The Solomon Key.
