Perhaps The Joke of the week

Today's hot news : RSS must unite society - Says RSS Chief Mohan Bahgwat.

http://ibnlive.in.com/news/rss-must-unite-society-says-mohan-bhagwat/519711-37-64.html

The Sangh has to unite the entire society. It has to make an example of its character and it has to be fearless....Quote unquote...

Does the utterances and activities of RSS and it's affiliated organizations contributing to the Country's unity ??

It does not look like.

Perhaps, Mr.Bagwat was joking :)

Ache Din for the lunatic right wing of BJP/RSS

Refering to my previous blog post :
http://4mymotherland.blogspot.in/2014/04/easy-to-give-advice-mrmodi.html

It was written before Mr.Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister of India.

I had finished that post with the following 2 sentences :

"People seems to have high expectations from Modi - about good governance. But it seems, if he becomes the PM, the lunatic fringe of the sangh parivar will be having a ball..".

Now if you look at the daily events and utterances of the various sangh parivar related leaders, MPs and sundry, the 'lunatic fringe of the sangh parivar' indeed is having a BALL.

What these so-called Hindu Bhakts and Desh Bahakts are doing is that - they are damaging India's image and also hurting India's multi-cultural society.

Who gave these lunatics the right to talk of the entire Hindu community ???

India belongs to Indians, be it Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Sikhs etc..No one religion is superior here.India is a secular Country, and that means all religions are equal under the Indian Constitution.

India voted for Modi, not to keep a clever silence on the activities of these lunatics. He was tweeting on each and everything when he was the PM in waiting.

He is still tweeting after he became PM.But he is very silent and even complicit on India being talibanised by his lunatic friends.

Not a good sign for the country..

I personally know that many of my friends who had high hopes of Mr.Modi are very disappointed now with the shrill voices of the lunatic fringe elements and the total silence of Mr.Modi.Those who voted for him thought, India will have a strong leader.A leader who will take India forward.

What we are seeing is a leader, under whose rule, India is being taken backwards. He is either helpless or is complicit.

It's very clear that if people thought this is how India will be governed under Modi, he would not have received the huge mandate he got.

Perhaps, 6 months into governing, there is a course correction required.REIGN-IN the lunatic fringe.Else India's image is getting damaged.

Easy to give advice, Mr.Modi !

First of all I am not a Modi supporter or a Rahul supporter. For that matter, I am not a supporter of any party.

Just want to highlight one thing noted recently.

As the Lok Sabha elections and the campaigning are nearing closure, the lunatic fringe in the sangh extended parivar is getting dirtier and dirtier with their comments.

The comment by the so-called "Yoga Guru" Mr.Ramdev, takes the No.1 position for being the worst comment. Don't want to repeat it here.

Coming from a so called "Guru", it's a real shame and every one should be concerned, if this is the level of our so called 'Gurus'!

What promopted me to write this blog is this "Stay within limits, Modi warns Rahul":
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/home/lok-sabha-elections-2014/news/Stay-within-limits-Modi-warns-Rahul/articleshow/34264124.cms

Mr.Modi, who seems to be on his way to become the PM of India, will be well advised to first ask his best friend Mr.Ramdev to stay within limit and don't insult Dalits and other leaders.

The BJP was infact defending Ramdev, saying he was misinterpreted.Gone are the days when politicians can say that they are misinterpreted.
The comments are on tape and was telecast in almost all news channels. There was no misinterpretation.Only for the BJP, the misinterpretation was there !!!!

Agree that leaders of all parties are indulging in some loose talk or the other.

When that's the case, Mr.Modi need not take a high morale ground, esp when his right-hand man Mr.Amit Shah was caught talking about revenge.

First clean up your own mess and then advice others !!!

As I said, I am not a supporter of any body.

Rahul seems nowhere in the picture of becoming a PM, so ignoring him.
Modi, 'who is in the picture', should first reign-in the ugly monsters in his party and his extended parivar, before giving sermons to others.

People seems to have high expectations from Modi - about good governance. But it seems, if he becomes the PM, the lunatic fringe of the sangh parivar will be having a ball..

Ajinkya Rahane's 1st test 100

Just loved the way Ajinkya Rahane celebrated after getting his first test century today.

No wild celebrations, no swearing, no running around..

Just a simple, calm and collected reaction and an acknowledgement to the appreciation from the crowd and his team mates.

Indian Cricket Team - Back to being a one man army ??

Is the Indian ODI Cricket Team slowly becoming what it was when Sachin Tendulkar was at his best ?

Those days, for opposition teams, the motto was 'Get Tendulkar out early" to win against India.Pure & simple.

There is a similar pattern being played out post Tendulkar's retirement these days.

Only difference, it's now Virat Kohli who has taken over that hot seat from Tendulkar.

The other so-called hugely talented young Indian batsmen are just not standing up to the challenge, atleast for the time being as can been in the on going India vs New Zealand ODI series.

Hope Kohli continues to do well.

More importantly, hope others also will start to do well.

This is especially important because Indian team relies very heavily on their batsmen to win matches.

The bowling remains as pathetic as ever.Hopelessly so..!

Update : 11:58 am 25/01/2014 :
I guess I jinxed Kohli. He just got out for a lackluster 6 off 20 balls, in the 3rd ODI between India - NZ.He never looked comfortable in the crease. That's the way it goes :)

Update : 2:48 pm 25/01/2014 :
Ok, well, well, well. The match is a tie. Both teams scored 314.
For India, it was Ravichandran Aswin and Ravindra Jadeja who pulled off this sensational tie.India needed 18 off the last over with only one wicket remaining.Jadeja managed to tie the game.

Probably, these 2 updates have taken away the focus away from the main content of the blog. But these 2 updates should reinforce the fact that the top order batsmen still continue to fail, what with the tie achieved by Ashwin, Jajeda and ofcourse Dhoni's 50s.

Upcoming 2014 Loka Sabha elections..

2014 Loka Sabha elections are nearing. Seems BJP PM candidate Narendra Modi is way ahead and could be the next PM of our Country..
God knows whether him becoming PM will be good for India, given his known anti-minority mentality..
He may have done lot of development in Gujarat post the riots, but that won't erase his and his party's role in the riots..
I guess fringe lunatic organisations like VHP, Bajrang Dal etc are waiting for him to be PM to once again raise those old contentious temple, article 370, uniform civil code issues..
A modern India does not need to get bogged down by these lunatic issues..
We need to look ahead and continue to move in the path of progress..
Modi says the last 10 years of the current UPA government was a wasted opportunity. So let's hope, if at all he becomes PM, he will drive the Nation in the right direction and not pull it back towards anarchy..

Kejriwal - The politician

Delhi CM and Aam Admi Party (AAP) founder had earlier said that those who are MLAs won't contest Lok Sabha elections..

Yesterday he is saying, if the party tells him to contest, he will contest Lok Sabha polls, even though personally he does not want to be PM!

3 things here,  one is the obvious U turn from his earlier stand.

Second is he will contest if the party asks.. That is amusing. It's his party, he surely has a voice, say 'I do not want to contest' .

Fix Delhi first.

3rd is him saying he is not interested to be PM. He said the same thing before becoming Delhi CM...

Stick to your word Sir, else you will loose credibility.. I don't have anything against you becoming PM, but the continuous U turns worries everyone..

I have some friends who are AAP supporters, who are getting disillusioned with the way AAP is now. The arrogance displayed by your party members in channel discussions is strange and amusing..

You people seems to be becoming 'politicians' very fast..
